Day 1: Arrive at Lhasa for acclimatization by air or train
Today's highlights:
Airport/train station transfer to hotel, Acclimatize to the High Altitude.
Fly into Lhasa or arrive in Lhasa by train. Local guide will meet you and transfer you to Lhasa. On the way, you can appreciate the heart-beating highland view along the Yarlong Tsangpo river (the longest river in Tibet and highest river on the earth with an average altitude of 4,000 meters), originating from Jiemayangzong Glacier on the northern Himalayas.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Lhasa
Today's highlights:
Potala Palace, Jokhang temple, Barkhor Street
Today, you will visit the highest palace in the world-Potala Palace which is the Dalai Lama's winter palace. It locates on the red hill, a good viewing point in Lhasa.
In the afternoon, we go to the renowned Jokhang Temple which will provide you one of your first sights of devout Tibetans. In the temple you will see the glistening Sakyamuni statue which is considered as Tibetan Buddhism's rarity. After then, stroll around the bustling Barkhor Street.

Day 3: Lhasa-Yamdrok Yumtso Lake-Gyantse
Today's highlights:
Yamdrok Yumtso Lake, Karola Glacier
About hundred kilometers, you will appreciate the holy Lake of Yamdrok Yumtso Lake.The sacred lake of Yamdrok Yumtso Lake is revered as a talisman, supporting the life-spirit of Tibet. It is said that should its waters dry, Tibet will no longer be habitable. Down to the Lake to have a picnic or hike.
On the way to Gyantse, have a look at the Karola Glacier.

Day 4: Gyantse-Shigatse
Today's highlights:
Dzong Castle, Palkhor Monastery, Kumbum Stupa, Nunnery, Shalu Monastery, Family Visit
Morning visit the historical city Gyantse, you will have great chance to appreciate the Old Town's sunrise at Dzong Castle.Visit the Palkhor Monastery for its famous Kumbum Pagoda. Besides Pelkhor, we will also visit a Nunnery to watch the chanting. After some time spent in Shalu Monastery.
Drive to Shigatse. On the way to Shigates have a mountain village family visit for a glimpse of everyday Tibetan life.

Day 5: Shigates/Dunxum or Namtso
Today's highlights:
Tashilumpo Monastery
Visit Pachen Lama's seat palce, the great Tashilumpo monastery, a very big and complex monastery in Tibet, then take a look at the Local Market. Head to Dunxum, otherwise drive to Namtso directly to camp there if you are adventure people.

Day 6: Dunxum/Namtso
Today's highlights:
Namtso Lake
Drive to Namtso Lake(Heavenly Lake). In Tibetan, Namtso means 'Heavenly Lake" . The water here is a storybook crystal-clear blue. Clear skies join the surface of the lake in the distance, creating an integrated, scenic vista. Besides the beautiful scenery in Namtso, it is also a famous sacred Buddhist place.

Day 7: Namtso/Lhasa
Today's highlights:
Yangpachen, Tsurphu Monastery
On the way back to Lhasa, you can fully enjoy the beautiful landscpae through Yangpachen hot spring. Then make a detour to Tsurphu Monastery. Have a good rest in Lhasa for next day's flight or train
Day 8: Bid farewell to Lhasa
Today's highlights: Transfer from hotel to airport or train station, Say goodbye to Lhasa
Our guide will meet you at your hotel, and you will be transferred to Gonggar Airport or Lhasa Railway Station to take flight or train out of Lhasa.
